Cafe Europa 1989 is a cafe in patently European-international style, located in the very heart of Copenhagen, on Amagertorv, the hub of the Universe – according to Danish philosopher Søren Kierkegaard.
In our hunt for quality we have been inspired from the very best of various European cafe cultures: the traditional French cafe, the cake houses found in Vienna and Budapest, the Italian coffee menus and, of course, the culinary inspiration from the Spanish tapas and the Greek yogurts.
As much as possible we use organic and biodynamic ingredients. And along the way our menu has increased in size involving a change in the cooking. Today Europa 1989 has introduced molecular gastronomy in the kitchen and fish and meat is cooked long-term on low temperature. This ensures the juicy taste and distinct texture.
Cafe Europa 1989 has different menus throughout the day serving your wishes and needs. Ranging from a varied morning, brunchmenu and a wide-ranging open sandwich to an exciting classics menu. You can also savour traditional European dishes.
